moving forward

As I said in my last blog, 2018 will be about changes.  Already working on some of the articles for print I have also contacted two more brands to do features with Trend prive magazine online.

For my own gratification and the fact that rather than give something up, I decided to expand my horizons, I have already had a lengthy discussion with a long standing South Asian client and will be shooting a new project in conjunction with the Lost Project in the coming months.

I don't feel like the last year was all that exciting and much to write about so with this in mind I am really just determined to focus on my business and getting things working the way I envisioned on my return to the UK.

One thing I really am excited about is the idea of taking over creative control on the Lost collection," the title changes as time goes on but I think the overall concept will be visually stunning and a creative play I have wanted to make for a long time.

Sort of a creative director/make up artist/photography project that I have wanted to do for a while but never got to do until now.  The choice was made between marketing to the current slate or looking outward and with the options popping up on the radar from my overseas contacts, it was less about decision making and more about enacting.

Over the next few months there will be changes to the website, with two more too be launched and of course the plans to drive forward will be put the the front with some side projects around the JamesC brand also being readdressed.
